Every year, there is nothing I look forward to more than Springtime in DC! The city has sooo many places to take in alll of its beautifully manicured gardens & meticulous landscaping. Last weekend, my dear friend Hannah & I set out to go to the Smithsonian Enid. A Haupt garden- we knew the magnolia trees were at their peak bloom; I have never been, but I've seen so many wonderful DC photographers take beautiful photos there- I was just super, super pumped to finally be able to have a free weekend to go and scout it out! Once we got there we realized it had just been closed to out of concern to public health due to the current state of our world. :( Naturally...I was bummed because I love, love spring and we've both been looking forward to it for so long! Sooo, instead we just went right back up to Capitol Hill (our home away from home) and found bloomed trees just as beautiful!!

I wanted to share these to hopefully brighten up your day with these blossoms and encourage you to visit us and DC next Spring when things will be better, because they will get better! :)
